While its critical popularity may go up and down, Call Of Duty is in no danger of disappearing anytime soon. The series is still a chart-topper but yearly releases have led to some underwhelming installments, such as 2013's Call Of Duty: Ghosts or Infinite Warfare, which famously brought the franchise to space. Call Of Duty: Black Ops from 2010 only strengthened the franchise's popularity with one of the best stories of the series to date, in addition to an addictive zombie mode. A major turning point for the series was 2007's Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which featured both a superb story campaign and multiplayer.
Is Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Remastered going to happen? The first Call Of Duty landed back in 2003 and the franchise has grown to dominate the FPS genre.
